Quanzhou's special locally-made products include ceramics, porcelain sculptures, embroidery, bamboo products, longan, lychee and tea.

There are several places in Quanzhou to buy local special products. In the town centre the Quanzhou Arts and Crafts Department on Zhongshan lu, and the Houcheng Cultural Street sell wood carvings, stone carvings made in Hui'an, embroidery, jade articles, porcelain made in Dehua and the "Four Treasures" at reasonable prices. Tieguanyin Tea is one of the most popular gifts.

East of Quanzhou lies Chongwu Town, an ancient town. This is the best place to go for a wide range of clothes and accessories of the Hui'an Culture.

Shishi Town (Stone Lion) is renowned for its clothes production. It is a city where numerous clothes stores, whether big or small, array along the streets. But remember: Compare prices and bargain!
