Pujiang Hotel, also named Astor House Hotel, is in a great location, just over Waibadu Bridge and Suzhou Creek, and is two-minute walk to the Bund.

It is the first hotel in Shanghai completed by a Westerner in 1846. Renovated in 2002 but the building's character remains unchanged. The hotel was named Richard's Hotel.
