Newly opened in 2004! Beijing City Central Youth Hostel is new hostel ,built to 2 star standard.The hostel is located at the northwest corner of Beijingzhan Qianjie, left across from Beijing Railway Station.
Tian'an Men Square, the Forbidden City (Gu Gong), The Temple of Heaven (Tian Tan), the Ancient Observatory (Gu Guanxiang Tai), Bei Hai Park, Tai Miao, and Wangfujing Dajie shopping street are all a short ride from the hostel.
Backpackers Club and recreation area on the third floor of the hotel. The third floor houses a computer/internet room, large self contained kitchen and dining areas, a television and video room, a reading room, snooker tables, a bar, and a travel advice centre. On the first and second floors levels you will find a 24-hour supermarket, breakfast bar, coffee lounge, ATM, IC/IP phones, express film processing, and a post office.
Around the nearby Henderson Centre are fast food outlets and restaurants. The hostel adjoins the central business districts of Dong Dan and Wangfujing, where you can find every imaginable eatery, from exquisite Cantonese restaurants to simple street stalls.

Arriving by air: Take the 'C' line of the Capital Airport shuttle bus to the terminus at Beijing Railway Station (Beijing Zhan) or Beijing International Hotel, (West Gate of the Hotel).
Arriving by train: (Beijing Zhan, Beijing Railway Station): The hostel is at the northwest corner of the station square. When you come out of the station, the hostel is diagonally opposite (slightly to your left).
Arriving by train: (Xi Ke Zhan, Beijing West Train Station): Take bus No.703 to Beijing Railway Station (Beijing Zhan).

I have finished my trip and really satisfied with the place (including hygiene and facilities) and the staff service. I will recommend to my frds who will go Beijing for travelling.

THe hotel is located in good position, near to subway, and bus station. There is free connection to internet. Only problem is that the low price rooms do not have any commode.

Great location and staffed by nice people eager to help. If you travel by train to or from Beijing (Main Station) this is the place to stay.

Great location, next to a subway. A big hostel feel with some helpful staff. Rooms could do with a fresh look for the price, and had thin walls. Good place if you want to meet similar type of travellers.

Convenient location, right beside train station and subway stop. For the price, this is a great find, and an especially terrific for youthful travelers or those traveling alone. It surpassed my expectations except for one thing: Rooms are poorly sound proofed, so early in the morning I was awoken by people walking and running and talking.
