Open on May 26th 1999, Nanyuan Hotel is the first five-star hotel in Zhejiang Province. It is located in the political, economic and cultural center of Ningbo City with very convenient transportation.

The hotel has 438 elegantly decorated and superbly equipped guestrooms including comfortable standard rooms, deluxe suites, executive suites and the Presidential suite. The business guest rooms are designed up to national platinum five-star standrad.
For dining the Nanyuan also provides a good selection of Western and Oriental cuisine. The best of these has to be Senile Western Restaurant which serves world-known cuisine and drinks. Other restaurants include the Imperial Garden famous for its Cantonese cuisine, the Flavor Court on the 2nd floor serves snacks from China and the West and the Lobby bar.
Nanyuan hotel also provides a number of other facilities including a fully equipped business center, 3 grand ballrooms and 6 meeting rooms. Extensive audio-visual equipment and lighting system are available under professional control. Others apparatuses include: simultaneous interpretation system, slide projector, multiscan data projector, LCD projector, laser disc player, portable computer etc.

I recently stayed at the Nanyuan Hotel for 6 days and 5 nights. the location is superb. Most taxi drivers know where it is as well. The hotel staff were friendly and top marks to the concierge and bellboys for going through great lengths in helping me retrieve a package i left on my trolley whilst getting into a taxi at the airport. Could not have asked for better bunch of people. Overall, will not hesitate to stay at this hotel the next time I am in Ningbo again.

Our stay here could not have been more comfortable. The room was spotless. We loved feeling right at home. Breakfast was fabulous too. I felt like we were staying with a group of friends, that's the feeling you have there.
