The hotel is very conveniently located close to the Pudong airport. The staff was friendly and efficient. The hotel is older but everything was clean. Great value.

It is a clean hotel with nice ammenities and kind, polite staff. Although the breakfast was not great but it really worth the price.

Our plane touched down Pu Dong airport at 11:20 p.m. Despite of our half hour earlier arrival than schedule, we were able to found the hotel staff at the exit, which we passed thru earlier, after searching for him for a while. He then guided us to a car with hotel name painted on it. Upon our arrival at the hotel, I found the night shift (lady) hotel staffs at the reception not so friendly. However, the day shift (gentlemen) staffs, whom we met the following morning, were very helpful in guiding us on how to take ride to downtown Shanghai. At a price of 198 Ren Ming Bi, we got a clean and neat twin sharing room with free breakfast and airport transfer - considering our late night flight. Congee cooked with Century egg is the dish which we like most. The rest of the dishes are so so. Well, what can one expect from such budget hotel but just ordinary food. At least, it is still better to have some food for the breakfast than nothing at all. Despite of minor dissatisfaction, I still highly recommend this hotel for passengers who fly in Pu Dong, Shanghai at late hours or for transient passengers who need to catch another flight the following day. Moreover, I thank Ms Susan of Chinahotel.net for recommending this hotel to me which made my first time self-assisted Shanghai tour successful. Though I have been to Shanghai sixteen years ago, everything then was being arranged by the travel agent.
