Opened in Sept 2003 and located on Nanjing West Road, Huangpu District, the JW Marriott Hotel Shanghai is a luxury hotel of good design offering good accommodation and a relatively good level of hospitality for business guests and leisure travelers alike.
There are several dining outlets: the JW's California Grill serves "California-Asian" cuisine, the Wan Hao Chinese Restaurant offers delicious Cantonese cuisine and Marriott cafe features as an international casual dining. There is also the JW's Lounge and Marriott Cafe.

The view was great from our 53rd floor hotel room. Located by People's Square/Tomorrow Square, many major sites are within walking distance. Taxis are cheap, but traffic is horrible. The City is all about commerce. Great restaurants. Do not miss the City Planning Museum with historical photos as well as future plans.
