stayed one night at this hotel. collected and returned (dfollowing day) pu dong airport. given business class B room, which was double-bedded room, sitting-room and room with table and chairs, and en-suite bathroom. plus breakfast. all of this booked through Chinahotels.net for £22 for two people. excellent hotel, not luxurious but perfectly adequate. unable to pay before going and they held the room for us until after 11 p.m. at night, and paid on arrival. staff very helpful. hotel clean and very confortable. breakfast adequate. would definitely stay again. please see review for this hotel on www.tripadvisor.com, which we posted on arriving home. It is an ok hotel with the necessary amenities, clean and smoky rooms. The hotel is located North of Jingan District, where locals live. It is not near Nanjing Rd W (the main street), Jingan Temple, or Jingan Metro station. The front desk officers are friendly but speaks very little/no English, no Concierge desk. Cannot complain about the rate of the room, though. (Joyage Hotel (Jing'an District))

The location was great being only a few minutes walk to nanjing road and the bund. The hotel was clean and modern and staff friendly even when we checked in at 1 am. (24K Hotel Shanghai (Fuzhou Road))
