The hotel itself is tucked away in a corner and not immediately visible from the main road, however, it was a great location for us because the subway station (Line 1) was immediately next door. If you are carrying light luggage, you can actually take the subway from Pudong Int'l Airport (this line opened only in late April to coincide with the opening of the Shanghai Expo 2010) or there's a bus station that's 10 minute's walk from the hotel that runs buses to the airport on a regular basis. The hotel's restaurant also had wonderful food at very reasonable prices. The only negative that I can mention, easily corrected by the hotel management, is that the hallway and guestroom carpeting could have been cleaner. (Zhao An Hotel Shanghai)

The location of hotel is a little bit far from Airport and surrounding environment is countryside and not convenient for sightseeing or shopping. I stayed on Mar 29, 2010. Good location. The hotel is in front of the Liu Hua Lake. 5-10 minutes walk from the yue xiu park station, exit C (to yue xiu park just exit B1). Helpful receptionist! I changed to the lake view room instead of the previous booking, just add CNY 20/night. All is OK except a little hard of the bed.(If you like shopping, you can go to Beijing Road via subway alight at Gongyuanqian exit C, it\'s only CNY 2/pax from yue xiu park station).
